The Opportunity
In this role, you’ll provide both clinical and administrative support to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services. You’ll work closely with providers and patients to support smooth daily operations, maintain efficient workflows, and contribute to positive patient outcomes through attentive, compassionate care.
What You’ll Do
Patient Care & Clinical Support
- Obtain and record patient medical histories, vitals, and test results
- Prepare treatment and exam rooms for clinical examinations
- Assist practitioners with medical procedures and patient care
- Administer medications under physician supervision
- Assist with patient transfers pre- and post-procedure
- Deliver compassionate support to patients and families
- Receive and direct phone calls
- Schedule appointments and check in patients
- Collect and update patient information, ensuring all forms and consents are completed
- Prepare equipment and clean instruments
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and stock exam rooms appropriately
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA
- Complete all required annual training by assigned deadlines
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
- Are highly organized and detail-oriented
- Communicate clearly and effectively with patients and team members
- Can balance clinical and administrative responsibilities with ease
- Take pride in delivering compassionate, high-quality care
- Work well both independently and as part of a team
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Medical Assistant certification preferred
- At least one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of clerical procedures, recordkeeping, and filing systems
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of medical terminology, spelling, and office ethics
- Understanding of patient confidentiality requirements
