About Central States Pain Clinic
Central States Pain Clinic specializes in advanced interventional pain management, serving patients throughout West Des Moines and Ankeny. Our providers utilize minimally invasive, image-guided procedures and personalized treatment plans to help patients manage chronic pain and regain quality of life. What You'll Do
  • As a Nurse Practitioner, you'll evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with chronic pain conditions while collaborating with physicians to deliver exceptional outpatient care.
  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations 
  • Obtain medical histories and establish treatment plans 
  • Order and interpret diagnostic testing 
  • Prescribe medications within state guidelines 
  • Perform procedures within scope of practice, including injections, wound care, suturing, immunizations, and infection management 
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and wellness 
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed 
  • Collaborate with physicians on complex cases 
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation 
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and other assigned duties 
Qualifications
Required
  • Master's Degree in Nursing 
  • Current Iowa Nurse Practitioner license 
  • Current unrestricted DEA license 
  • BCLS certification 
  • Ability to maintain continuing education and certification requirements 
  • Strong computer and documentation skills 
Preferred
  • ACLS certification 
  • Experience in pain management, orthopedics, spine, family medicine, or related specialty
