Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:30 AM-4:30 PM & Friday 7:30 AM-1:00 PM (Occasionally staying later than 1:00 PM for employee meetings or educational training)

The Opportunity
As a Medical Front Office Specialist, you'll support both the patient experience and daily clinic operations. You'll work closely with patients, providers, and insurance carriers to maintain accurate records, coordinate appointments, process claims, and help ensure a smooth experience from check-in through check-out.
What You'll Do
Patient Services & Front Office Support
- Greet patients, perform check-in and check-out, and collect demographic, insurance, and payment information.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, answer phones, and assist patients and family members.
- Maintain patient records, perform data entry, and manage medical records, faxes, mail, and other documentation.
- Support front desk operations and general administrative functions.
- Verify insurance coverage and communicate with insurance carriers regarding patient accounts.
- Process claims, post payments, reconcile accounts, and assist with collections.
- Review EOBs and research, appeal, and resolve denied or unpaid claims.
- Maintain accurate account and billing information.
- Follow established policies, procedures, and training requirements.
- Support clinic operations and perform additional duties as assigned.
- Are organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.
- Enjoy helping patients and providing excellent customer service.
- Communicate professionally with patients, insurance carriers, and team members.
- Enjoy problem-solving and working with insurance and account information.
- Thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum six (6) months of related experience and/or training required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Knowledge of medical records practices, ethics, classification, and nomenclature.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply medical records policies and procedures.
