Charge Nurse
Full-Time | $40–$45/hr (salary is based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM | Friday 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Fayetteville, GA 30214 (with travel to Newnan as needed)

The Opportunity
The Charge Nurse directs patient care during designated shifts and works closely with related departments to ensure patient care needs are addressed efficiently and effectively.
This role combines clinical patient care, staff coordination, and operational oversight to ensure patients receive high-quality care in a safe and organized clinical environment.
What You’ll Do
Patient Care & Clinical Support
- Assist staff nurses in evaluating and assessing patient needs and providing direct patient care.
- Order medications as prescribed.
- Make patient rounds and identify problems that require follow-up.
- Manage scheduling of patient appointments.
- Receive shift reports on all patients and identify special patient care needs.
- Adjust patient assignments to meet patient care needs.
- Participate in staff conferences.
- Work with related departments to ensure patient care issues are addressed during the shift.
- Make nursing assignments for the following day.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with patients and team members.
- Are highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Demonstrate dependability and professionalism in a clinical setting.
- Prioritize maintaining a safe environment for patients and co-workers.
- Are comfortable assisting with patient and equipment transport when appropriate.
- High School Diploma required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse
- Current BLS certification
- At least one (1) year of experience in a healthcare facility required
- Ambulatory Surgery Center and/or Pain Management experience preferred
- EHR experience required (Athena preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Knowledge of medical terminology, spelling, and office ethics
