Location: Gainesville, GA 30501 & Jasper, GA 30143 (travel required between clinics – Jasper on Tuesday & Thursday and Gainesville on Monday & Wednesday)

The Opportunity
As a key provider within our interventional pain management team, you will deliver hands-on patient care, support safe and effective treatment workflows, and collaborate closely with supervising physicians. Your work will directly support patient outcomes by performing assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostics, developing treatment plans, and providing both therapeutic procedures and patient education. This role requires comfort working across two clinic locations and engaging in a dynamic, team-oriented care environment.
What You’ll Do
Clinical Care & Patient Management
- Perform patient examinations, review medical histories, document findings, and determine follow-up needs.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as x-rays, ECGs, MRI/CT, and bloodwork.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, monitor progress, and modify treatment as appropriate.
- Prescribe medications within state guidelines and clinic policies.
- Provide general health education on topics such as nutrition, family planning, emotional well-being, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate outpatient records, compile required reports, and support research or data needs as assigned.
- Perform therapeutic procedures, including immunizations, injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
- Assist physicians during emergency treatments and more complex procedures.
- Exercise sound clinical judgment and consult with supervising physicians as needed to ensure appropriate treatment.
- Work collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to support coordinated, high-quality patient care.
- Record statistics, assist with research activities where needed, and perform other related duties as assigned.

- Is motivated to learn, grow, and develop pain management and imaging interpretation skills
- Completion of a four-year physician assistant baccalaureate program or Master’s program/Doctorate for NP plus one year of clinical training; or a two-year accredited PA/NP program (requiring two years of prior undergraduate study) plus two years of clinical training.
- Ongoing compliance with continuing education requirements: 100 CME hours every two years and recertification every ten years (PA) or five years (NP), per governing board requirements.
- Accreditation through the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for Physician Assistants.
- Competence with or willingness to learn joint injections, trigger point injections, and Botox injections.
- Comfortable with medication management.
- Pain management experience is preferred but not required; training and support are available for the right candidate.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers.
- Current state license.
- BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Current, unrestricted DEA license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods; communicate clearly in English; use both hands for fine motor tasks; lift 10–25 lbs and push up to 300 lbs; and maintain 20/20 vision with required depth perception and focus adjustment.
