Position Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to play an integral role in delivering high-quality patient care throughout the procedural and recovery process. This position works closely with physicians, clinical staff, patients, and families to support safe clinical operations, positive patient outcomes, and adherence to evidence-based nursing practices.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Assessment
- Conduct thorough nursing assessments and accurately document findings.
- Obtain and record vital signs while monitoring patients for changes in condition.
- Identify abnormal findings and communicate concerns to the appropriate members of the healthcare team.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and updating individualized plans of care.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and clinical documentation.
- Provide nursing care before, during, and after procedures.
- Monitor patient status throughout treatment and recovery phases.
- Evaluate patient responses to interventions and communicate observations appropriately.
- Help promote a safe and positive patient experience across the continuum of care.
- Partner with physicians, patients, family members, and interdisciplinary team members to support treatment goals.
- Assist with coordinating patient care activities and maintaining efficient clinical workflows.
- Provide guidance and oversight to support staff while ensuring compliance with established protocols.
- Participate in staff meetings, continuing education activities, and departmental training sessions.
- Follow facility policies, ethical standards, and evidence-based nursing practices.
- Support quality improvement efforts and patient safety initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and organizational requirements.
- Perform additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and coworkers.
- Thrive in fast-paced clinical environments while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prioritize patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Enjoy working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and a patient-centered mindset.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification.
- Experience working in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) preferred.
- Prior Pain Management experience preferred.
- Experience using Athena or other electronic health record platforms preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- CPAN certification.
- Skills & Physical Requirements
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong patient assessment abilities and knowledge of nursing best practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications or comparable software.
