The Opportunity
We're seeking a Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care throughout the procedural journey, from preparation and assessment through recovery. In this role, you'll partner with physicians and clinical staff to promote safe, efficient operations while delivering compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced surgical environment.

What You'll Do
  • Patient Assessment & Clinical Care
  • Collect and document comprehensive nursing histories and patient information.
  • Perform patient assessments utilizing knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
  • Monitor vital signs, identify changes in condition, and communicate concerns appropriately.
  • Evaluate patient progress and document clinical outcomes accurately.
Care Coordination & Treatment Planning
  • Develop, implement, and revise individualized patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, providers, and care teams to establish treatment goals.
  • Communicate care plans and patient updates to support continuity of care.
  • Utilize care plans to guide safe, effective nursing interventions.
Clinical Operations & Documentation
  • Follow established nursing policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
  • Support coordinated patient care activities across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide oversight and direction to nonprofessional personnel when appropriate.
  • Maintain complete and accurate electronic health record documentation.
  • Accept accountability for the delivery of assigned patient care.
Procedural & Surgical Support
  • Prepare procedure and operating rooms, ensuring supplies and equipment are available and functioning properly.
  • Assist physicians during procedures by providing instruments and clinical support.
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures and surgeries.
  • Conduct preoperative assessments to identify potential risks and complications.
  • Maintain infection prevention and control standards.
  • Operate a C-Arm and fluoroscope under physician guidance when assigned.
  • Perform additional related duties as needed.

Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • ACLS certification preferred.
  • CPAN certification preferred.
  • PACU experience required.
  • Minimum one (1) year of OR and/or PACU experience preferred.
  • IV starting skills preferred.
  • Knowledge of applicable Nurse Practice Act requirements and current nursing trends.
Skills & Abilities
  • Strong patient assessment and clinical monitoring skills.
  • Experience evaluating vital signs and patient levels of consciousness.
  • Knowledge of surgical procedures and scrub practices.
  • Ability to operate a C-Arm and fluoroscope when assigned.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
