Medical Assistant | Pain Management
Full-Time | $22-$24 per Hour | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

What You'll Do
As a Medical Assistant, you'll provide both clinical and administrative support while helping ensure patients receive efficient, compassionate care.
- Obtain and document medical histories, vital signs, test results, and other patient information
- Prepare patients, examination rooms, treatment areas, equipment, and instruments
- Assist physicians and practitioners with examinations, procedures, and patient care
- Prepare, order, and administer medications under physician direction and supervision
- Assist with pre- and post-procedure patient transfers
- Maintain medical supply inventory and stock clinical areas
- Provide compassionate support to patients and families
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Check in patients and obtain required information, forms, and consents
- Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments
- Assist with waitlist management and schedule optimization
- Schedule follow-up appointments at checkout and document reasons when appointments cannot be scheduled
- Maintain accurate records and support daily office operations
- Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements
- Maintain compliance with OSHA and other healthcare regulations
- Complete required training and follow established clinical and office procedures
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting
- Medical Assistant certification may be required
- Knowledge of medical terminology, spelling, and office ethics
- Understanding of patient confidentiality requirements
- Familiarity with clerical procedures, recordkeeping, and filing
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service and patient care abilities
- Organization and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities

- Professionalism and discretion with confidential information
- Ability to support both clinical and administrative operations
