Summary:
Evaluate and treat patients' neuromusculoskeletal system, which includes nerves, bones, muscles, ligaments, and tendons.
Compensation: $76,000-$78,000 annually
Schedule: Mon-Wed 8am-6pm, Tues-Thurs 1pm-6pm, Friday 8am-1pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reviews a patient's medical history and listen to their concerns.
Performs a physical examination to analyze the patient's posture, spine, and reflexes.
Provides neuromusculoskeletal therapy, which involves adjusting a patient’s spinal column and other joints.
Gives additional treatments, such as applying heat or cold to a patient’s injured areas.
Advises patients on health and lifestyle issues, such as exercise and nutrition.
Refers patients to other healthcare professionals if needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
State license and valid malpractice insurance.
Completion of a one-year clinical program focusing on patient care.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Comprehensive knowledge of neuromusculoskeletal injuries, conditions, and treatments.
Understanding of stretches, exercises, therapies, and dietary changes that may help patients manage their overall health.
Ability to analyze patient conditions based on observations and medical tests.
A commitment to providing the best possible care.
Required to sit and stand for long periods.
Must be able to communicate with or without reasonable accommodations – speak and hear.
Able to use both hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Ability to push 300 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
