About Central States Pain Clinic Central States Pain Clinic specializes in advanced interventional pain management, serving patients throughout West Des Moines and Ankeny. Our providers utilize minimally invasive, image-guided procedures and personalized treatment plans to help patients manage chronic pain and regain quality of life. What You'll Do
As a Nurse Practitioner, you'll evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with chronic pain conditions while collaborating with physicians to deliver exceptional outpatient care.
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations
Obtain medical histories and establish treatment plans
Order and interpret diagnostic testing
Prescribe medications within state guidelines
Perform procedures within scope of practice, including injections, wound care, suturing, immunizations, and infection management
Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and wellness
Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
Collaborate with physicians on complex cases
Maintain accurate medical documentation
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and other assigned duties
Qualifications Required
Master's Degree in Nursing
Current Iowa Nurse Practitioner license
Current unrestricted DEA license
BCLS certification
Ability to maintain continuing education and certification requirements
Strong computer and documentation skills
Preferred
ACLS certification
Experience in pain management, orthopedics, spine, family medicine, or related specialty
