About Midwest Pain Clinics Midwest Pain Clinics is dedicated to helping patients find meaningful relief from chronic and acute pain. Our multidisciplinary team provides a broad range of interventional and advanced treatment options, including radiofrequency ablation, neurostimulation, ketamine therapy, and other innovative approaches to pain management. We combine advanced treatment techniques with compassionate, individualized care to help patients improve their function and quality of life.
What You'll Do As a Medical Assistant/Scribe, you'll support both providers and patients throughout the care process while helping keep daily clinic operations running smoothly.
Prepare patients for appointments by obtaining histories, vital signs, and other clinical information
Document relevant patient information and assist with accurate medical records
Prepare examination and procedure rooms for patient visits
Support providers during examinations and in-office procedures
Administer medications under appropriate physician supervision
Assist with pre- and post-procedure care and patient transfers
Coordinate appointments, follow-ups, and waitlist activity
Complete patient check-in and verify demographic and medical information
Monitor inventory and ensure clinical areas remain properly stocked
Provide a professional and compassionate experience for patients and their families
Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies and procedures
Complete required training and other assigned responsibilities
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
At least 3 years of medical assistant or medical scribe experience required
Must be familiar with medical terminology and have excellent typing skills
Medical Assistant certification preferred
Previous pain management, orthopedic, or spine experience is a plus, but not required
