Your Role The Charge Nurse will oversee daily clinical operations, coordinate nursing workflows, and serve as a resource to the clinical team throughout the pre-operative, procedural, and recovery process.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily staffing, assignments, and clinical workflow
Provide guidance and serve as a clinical resource for nurses and support staff
Supervise support personnel and reinforce established protocols
Assess patients, monitor responses to treatment, and document clinical findings
Recognize and communicate changes in patient condition to appropriate team members
Deliver nursing care throughout pre-op, procedural, and recovery phases
Work with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support positive outcomes
Promote patient safety, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance initiatives
Maintain professional, ethical, and evidence-based clinical standards
Participate in team meetings and continuing education
Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Preferred:
Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and/or pain management experience
Experience using Athena EHR
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
CPAN certification
