What You'll Do As Charge Nurse, you'll provide clinical leadership while coordinating patient care and supporting efficient, safe operations across the surgical continuum.
Coordinate daily clinical activities, including staffing and workflow coverage.
Serve as a clinical resource for nurses and support staff.
Supervise support personnel and reinforce established clinical protocols.
Perform patient assessments, monitor treatment responses, and document clinical findings.
Communicate changes in patient condition to the appropriate care team members.
Provide nursing care during pre-operative, procedural, and recovery stages.
Partner with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote positive outcomes.
Support quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and patient safety initiatives.
Maintain facility standards, professional ethics, and evidence-based practices.
Participate in staff meetings and continuing education.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
BLS certification.
ACLS certification.
Preferred
Previous experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and/or pain management.
Experience with Athena EHR.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
CPAN certification.
