What You'll Do
As the Director of Nursing, you'll oversee nursing operations, regulatory compliance, and staff development while ensuring safe, efficient patient care throughout the surgery center.
- Lead daily nursing and clinical operations
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and workflow to support procedural volume
- Supervise, coach, and evaluate clinical and non-clinical team members
- Oversee onboarding, orientation, competency validation, and continuing education
- Foster a positive, patient-centered culture and strong team engagement
- Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
- Investigate incidents and conduct root cause analyses
- Ensure compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, OSHA, and other regulatory standards
- Oversee Life Safety, Infection Prevention, and Radiation Safety programs
- Maintain required audits, reports, training, and regulatory documentation
- Participate in leadership meetings and other responsibilities as assigned
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Previous experience supervising or leading clinical staff required
- Working knowledge of CMS, Joint Commission, OSHA, and regulatory compliance standards required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Infection Preventionist certification preferred
- Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), surgical services, or procedural care leadership experience preferred

- Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
